1st Grade Team Announcement

On the road for Round 7 of the Intrust Super Shute Shield, and looking to make amends for back to back losses in recent weeks.

Northern Suburbs Grade teams head out to the famous rugby league venue, Lidcombe Oval to face the Western Sydney Two Blues who are coming off the back of a 1 point win last week over Southern Districts.

Another great piece of silverware is on offer this week, with 1st Grade competing for the Rod Phelps Cup. Currently held by Norths after a win back in round 7 last year at North Sydney Oval.

The forward pack welcomes back 92 game veteran Lawrance Hunting, as he replaces colt Zane Hogan who made his debut just last week. As well as inspirational leader Hugh Sinclair off the back of his 2 game stint with the Waratahs in South Africa

John Porch, who has lit up the ground in recent weeks with his blistering speed and sublime aerial skills is unavailable after picking up a contract in Ireland, as Nathan Russell returns from his hamstring injury to take his position on the right wing.

Nippy 2nd grade outside back Nuno Sousa Guedes also receives his first call up to 1st Grade after some great form in recent weeks.

Congratulations again to Harry Burey who notches up his 2nd milestone in as many weeks, this time with 50 1st Grade Games.

And Congratulations to another 2019 Colts recruit Jayden Lynch, who came off the bench in 1st Grade on Saturday. Jayden is a product of the Far North Coast Rugby and in just his 1st year out of school is doing some tremendous work in the front row. Jayden and Zane would have to be close to the youngest 1st Grade props in the competition.

OUT: Zane Hogan (2nd Grade), John Porch (Unavailable, Ireland), Devan Stoltz (2nd Grade), Hugh Taylor (2nd Grade)
IN: Lawrance Hunting, Nathan Russell, Nuno Sousa Guedes, Hugh Sinclair
