BRYCE HEGARTY TO PLAY FOR SHOREMEN IN 2016

Former Melbourne Rebel, and current Toyota Shokki Shuttles, star Bryce Hegarty is joining the Shoremen for the 2016 Shute Shield season.

A rugby league sensation with the Brisbane Broncos, Bryce burst onto the Super Rugby scene in the round 13 of the 2013 Super 15 at flyhalf. Bryce amassed 33 Super Rugby caps before heading for a season in Japan. Bryce returns in early 2016 as part of the NSW Waratahs and the Shoremen.

“Bryce has played a lot of super rugby for a 23 year old and he brings a wealth of knowledge as well as physicality for both the Waratahs and Norths.”

“The current culture at Norths is extremely pleasing and Bryce fits into the type of players we want, and have, at the club”, said Head Coach, Simon Cron.

We look forward to seeing Bryce pull on the Red & Black in 2016.
