Concussion Research – Hear The Latest From The Brain Institute At Uni Of QLD – July 31st Mollie Dive Stand North Sydney Oval

Northern Suburbs Rugby Club has a great opportunity to hear the latest research on concussion.   The Brain Institute at University of Queensland (considered one of the top brain research institutes globally) has made significant progress in the area of concussion and they have offered to share this with the Norths community.

The QBI campaign is to shift people’s perceptions and change the stigma around concussion. QBI is committed to not change sport, but to change the outcome for those impacted by concussion. QBI’s research aims to identify the short- and long-term impacts of concussion, so people can safely keep playing contact sports like rugby.

Professor Mike O’Sullivan from QBI who will deliver the presentation has been in contact with Dr Warren MacDonald (CMO Wallabies) and he is delighted that Norths and QBI have undertaken to share this with our community as it is consistent with the ARU messaging.

To attend the event on 31 July at 5.00pm in the Mollie Dive stand at North Sydney Oval please;

RSVP by Friday 28 July;
