It is with mixed feelings that I advise you, that Adam will be leaving the Club to take up a position at the NSW Waratahs at the start of next year. On the one hand, I am sorry that we will be losing the wonderful support that Adam has given Norths over the last 3 and a half years. On the other, we are delighted in the knowledge that he will be taking a very big step forward in his career path in Sports Administration.

Adam joined the Club midway in 2013 as our Rugby Operations Manager and was promoted to General Manager shortly thereafter having demonstrated considerable skill as a Sports Administrator. In the time that Adam has been with the Club, we have seen a vast improvement in the administration of the Club’s affairs – in our financial management, rugby & commercial operations, stakeholder relationships and our internal and external communications. He has also provided invaluable assistance and support to the Board. In all, Adam has played a key part in the Club’s development, both on and off the field which, of course, was marked this year by one of the most successful seasons in the history of the Club, which included the Shute Shield Premiership and runner up in the Club Championship.

Adam’s last day with us will be 23 December 2016 and I would ask you all to join with me in thanking him for his considerable contribution to the Club during his time with us and to wish Adam every success in his new role. Adam will be leaving big shoes to fill and the process to find his successor has commenced. If you, or you know of anyone who might be interested in applying for the role, please contact Brad Leahy at

Kind Regards,

Tony Crawford
President Ι Northern Suburbs Rugby Football Club
