Another big weekend for our club hosting the Warringah Rats for another Super Saturday at North Sydney Oval with our Grade and Colts teams on show.

This week has a finals footy feel to it, with the Rats setting the benchmark and leading the table in the Shute Shield for the past month.

For our boys, now is the time to start pulling a more complete performance together in front of our home crowd. We were poor last week against the Two Blues, with uncharacteristic drop balls pre & post contact and tackling high on some of their bigger players. I’m sure the Best of the Best mentality will be back again this week.

Round 14 also marks a couple of huge milestones for some of our great clubman. Will Miller and Al McSpadden will be running out for their 100th Grade game for our club and in turn, joining the illustrious Club 100.

Al has been an anchor player in the outside backs for the brotherhood over the last 5 seasons, always putting his hand up and playing where the coach and team needs him. Top bloke and a great tourist too!

As for Will, well what is there to say? Premiership winning Captain and will go down as one of our club greats. Everyone can see his impact on field, but it’s his leadership and humility off field is what has made him such an invaluable part of our club since 2012. He has stuck true during the tough times and kept standards during the best!

Congratulations to both boys!

Looking forward to seeing the hill and jumping castle full with plenty of our members and supporters out in force supporting Norths this weekend.
