Back to 1975, the new Norths Retro jersey is a classic fit, made of 100% cotton, with a white collar and square on the back and all red and black. Sized from M to XXL it will be on sale at the Norths merchandise tent at North Sydney Oval for the Norths v’s Gordon game on July 15 for $80.

Designed by Will Weeks at Paladin Sports in conjunction with Ash Hall and former Club Captain Michael O’Hea , it is a great addition to the growing range of Norths merchandise.

Jack Burey says, “Past players and spectators wanted to be able to wear the Norths jersey as a leisure garment.

“It is soft and warm and all you need to sit on the hill at North Sydney oval and watch great rugby.

“We hope we sell out at the Back to Norths day. Our 100 Club Norths Legends are all gathering on the hill for the Gordon game. The classic jersey sums up mate-ship and good times with Norths,” says Burey.

We hope people take up the challenge and sew on their own numbers on the back of the white patch, as was the custom practice of the day.

“Bringing red and black back into the crowd, we are hoping to make it the standard dress code of game days at Norths. They are unisex and we want all supporters including girlfriends, wives, mums, dads and kids to get behind this Club revival.

“Jerseys today are all about high performance. The fabric and fit are designed to get the most out of players and come with technology pockets to track performance.

“This jersey is all about the spirit. Red, black, feels comfortable and at home, and pure in cotton. Just like the Norths supporter,” says Burey.
