Northern Suburbs Women’s 7’s 

 

The Northern Suburbs Women’s 7’s  ‘The Sirens’ Team compete both locally in the Sydney Rugby Women’s 7’s competition as well as various regional tournaments.

2019 was another exciting year for Women’s 7’s at Norths, as the club has appointed new Women’s Head Coach Geoff Wells alongside assistant coach Blake Murray.

Training for the 2020 season will recommence on November 12th, 2019 with tournaments in 2020 at Hamilton,  Lake Macquarie and Kiama to begin the season in February.

Fast Fact: I decided I wanted to play 7s after seeing the Aussie girls lose to NZ in the 2019 Sydney 7s final. I thought to myself, ‘I can totally play this game!’.

Best Thing: The sense of community at Norths and such an awesome group of girls. Its also been a real test of skill and fitness which I’ve loved.
