The Shoremen Report /// Round 7

After 6 rounds, the 2022 Shute Shield competition is as tight as it's ever been, as bonus points become the difference. Claiming 5 points from the past 3 weeks has continued to hold Norths in good stead, with an opportunity for the top 4 to kick clear should results go as expected.

Norths have the short away trip to Chatswood Oval for their third top 5 match in as many weeks. Despite dropping the last 3 matches by a collective 8 points, Norths will take confidence from their last trip to Chatswood Oval (2020) where they knocked over the eventual premiers, knowing if they can improve last week's error rate they will be primed to return to the winners' circle.

Having maintained a firm grip on the Baxter / Mortlock trophy, the local derby rivalry has been built up further in recent years and as 4th placed plays 5th this week's edition will be no different.

With two big inclusions, the backrow welcomes back Charlie Jeavons-Fellows (Concussion) & Brodie Leber (Eye). Alongside these two is the return of Angus Sinclair who was unavailable last week and his return pushes Max Burey to his customary fullback position.

IN: Angus Sinclair, Brodie Leber, Charlie Jeavons-Fellows
OUT: Matt Ryan (2nd Grade), Hamish Sinclair (2nd Grade), Gary Bautz (2nd Grade)

Tickets: IWannaTicket // Gordon v Norths
