The Shoremen Report - Round 14

Norths extended their run of form to 3 wins for the first time since round 3, with a hard-fought slog with West Harbour.

Looking to retain the Baxter Mortlock Cup for the 4th consecutive match, having crawled back from 0-21 point deficit back in round 7 at Chatswood Oval

Gordon front up to North Sydney Oval off the back of 3 wins in a row, moving from 10th to 7th, keeping their finals chances very much alive. They've been bolstered by the inclusions of 2020 Ken Catchpole Medal Winner Mahe Vialanu and Joey Walton's return from an ACL injury.

Fullback Winniata Cherrington was a late withdrawal due to a shoulder injury last week, replaced by Josh Henderson on debut. The Scotsman was right at home in torrential conditions with a strong kicking game and retains his position at the back.

Reece Mau'u has ticked all the boxes thus far in his return from a knee injury and is inline to see some minutes from the reserves bench.

It is also a big day through all the grades as we celebrate the past Legends of the Club and following the wash-out of 4th we get to celebrate Club stalwart Ash Hall's 250 Grade Games on the legendary Bon Andrews Oval.
