The Shoremen Report - Round 18

Here it is, the regular season all comes down to this!

Norths guaranteed a top 2 finish with a comprehensive win over the Two Blues and in doing so reclaimed the Rod Phelps Cup.

Now 3-points ahead of Sydney University, sits the opportunity to claim the Minor Premiership for the first time since 2001 & just the 4th time in the club's history. Alongside 1929, 1960 & 2001.

Eastern Suburbs are a vastly different team from when they last met in the opening round. Having welcomed back a number of Waratahs and Junior Wallabies, they've strung together 4 consecutive wins and dispatched Eastwood, Gordon & Hunter to keep their season alive.

Coming off a Waratahs and Australia A campaign, Hugh Sinclair made his impact felt, playing his first game on North Sydney Oval in 713 days (Semi-Final, 2019)

Angus Sinclair was a late inclusion to the staring XV last week after a hamstring niggle sidelined Josh Henderson. Meanwhile, Charlie Jeavons-Fellows left the field early clutching a wrist injury that will keep him out this week.

Captain Harry Burey will mark his 100th 1st Grade Game, joining Angus Sinclair as the second player to reach the milestone this season and remarkably just the 6th to do so in 20 years.

Please join us post-game as we celebrate the achievements of Harry and Angus & this special occasion.

Meanwhile, the Colts will challenge for the Sam Carson Cup for the second time this season.
