The Shoremen Report: Round 6 v Eastwood

Back home for an absolute blockbuster in Round 6.

Returning home and remaining undefeated after a clunky win over West Harbour, Norths face a stiff test against the 3rd placed Eastwood.

The woods have become somewhat of North's 'unofficial' rivals in recent years after playing off in multiple semi finals, including 2017, 2018 and of course 2020.

After 6 forced changes ahead of last week, Norths welcome back a number of key IN's for this clash including midfield combination Harry Burey (Captain) and Nathan Russell.

While not without its headaches at the selection table for coach Zak Beer with No.8 Brodie Leber sustaining a hamstring injury and outside back James Turner called up to the Waratahs squad and originally an omission from last week's team, however, lines up in his usual right-wing position.

Leber is replaced by his former Canberra teammate Gary Bautz, who has been sensational from the bench in recent weeks. 3 turnovers in 20 minutes against Souths before a man of the match performance last week.

Eastwood have been up and down in the early part of the season, coming off a loss to Warringah, they were too strong to Easts and got overpowered by Uni in final minutes.

They have named another strong team and this is sure to be another thrilling game.
