Northern Suburbs Rugby Club is able to accept donations thought the Northern Suburbs Rugby Club Foundation (hyper link to appropriate page). Through the foundations association with the Australian Sports Foundation, we have nominated a series of ongoing projects that allow for donations made to the foundation to gain a tax deductible receipt. This may be eligible to be claimed as a deduction in the donating entities income tax return. Please consult your accountant or finance professional for tax advice specific to your circumstances .
Bequests
You are able to make a specific bequest if you wish to directly support Northern Suburbs Rugby Club in its ongoing operations, high-performance program, women's rugby and player development pathways. You can ensure that the funds are allocated to areas of particular interest to the extent possible.

Make a gift in your Will
Leaving a gift in your Will is a meaningful way to continue supporting Northern Suburbs Rugby Club and contribute to the future success of the Club. Gifts of all sizes make a critical difference in funding the growth and sustainability of the Club, helping to ensure future generations can enjoy the same opportunities and experiences that rugby at Norths provides today.
Leaving a gift in your Will is an important decision and is something best discussed with your solicitor or estate planning professional. If you do not currently have a Will, a qualified professional can assist in preparing one to ensure your wishes are properly documented and carried out.

Current and former players and members may be eligible for discounted estate planning services.
There are a range of options available to you in making a gift in your Will.
These options include:
- A Percentage Gift - This type of gift enables you to leave a percentage of your Estate to Northern Suburbs Rugby Club and others listed in your Will up to 100%.
- A Residual Gift - With this type of gift, Northern Suburbs Rugby Club receives the balance of your Estate after those specifically named in your Will have been provided for.
- A Pecuniary Gift - This type of gift is a fixed sum of money that you specify you would like to be provided to Northern Suburbs Rugby Club.
- A Specific Gift - This type of gift enables you to leave a specific cash amount or other assets such as shares or particulars to Northern Suburbs Rugby Club.
Suggested Wording for your Will
I give (insert $ amount or % amount or the residue of my estate) to Northern Suburbs Rugby Football Club ABN 99 000 120 829 for its general rugby purposes and I declare that the receipt of the secretary, treasurer or proper officer for the time being shall be full discharge to my trustee for the legacy nor shall my trustee by bound to see to its application.
Telling us of your gift
If you have chosen to leave a gift in your Will to Northern Suburbs Rugby Club, please let us know. This wont affect your rights to change or update your Will if your circumstances or wishes change. It simply assist us in being aware of your support and to plan our operations into the future. It also assists in making sure your wishes are upheld.
