Introducing the NSRFC Development Fund

Northern Suburbs Rugby is proud to announce the launch of the NSRFC Development Fund, a new initiative designed to strengthen the long-term future of our Club and ensure Norths remains a destination where players, coaches and volunteers can thrive for generations to come.

Established in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, the NSRFC Development Fund provides members, supporters, alumni and the wider Norths community with the opportunity to make tax-deductible contributions directly towards the future growth of the Club.

The fund has been created to support three key pillars that are critical to the continued success of Northern Suburbs Rugby:

Pathway Development

Developing the next generation of Shoremen and Sirens is central to the future of our Club. The NSRFC Development Fund will support initiatives that strengthen player pathways from junior rugby through to Colts, Grade and representative rugby. This includes investment in the Blair Swannell Academy, which provides aspiring players with access to additional coaching, education and development opportunities designed to prepare them for the next level of their rugby journey.

High-Performance Program

Norths has built a reputation as one of Australia's leading community rugby clubs, consistently competing at the pointy end of the Shute Shield competition. Contributions to the fund will assist in providing players and coaches with the resources, facilities and support required to maintain a high-performance environment, ensuring our teams continue to compete with the best clubs in the country.

Women's Rugby

The growth of the Sirens program has been one of the great success stories at Norths in recent years. The Development Fund will help provide resources, coaching, facilities and pathway opportunities to ensure more women and girls can experience rugby and continue their journey in the red and black jersey. As participation continues to grow, so too does our commitment to building one of the strongest women's rugby programs in Australia.
