Round 8, 'Norths Nomads'

The 'Norths Nomads' head to the Pittwater Rugby Park to take over the home of rats at our third 'Home away from Home' venue in 2020.

After getting back to winning ways in fine fashion against the Two Blues last week, Norths face a stiffer test against the 'woods, who recently knocked off undefeated Randwick at Coogee Oval.

In a round filled with blockbuster matches, the Norths (6th) v Eastwood (5th) game is no exception with teams separated by a single bonus point.

Norths have been only moderately tested in the opening half of the competition with 5 wins and a loss and face 5 top teams in the run home of 2020. Meanwhile, Eastwood who are yet have their bye will be keen to score back to back wins, having previously fallen to other top 6 teams (Souths and Uni).

George Murrin (No.8) is in doubt due to a minor thumb injury suffered in last week's win. The Englishman will be a straight swap for Waratahs backrower Pat Tafa who made his return to the club via the bench in round 7. For the visitors, the Eastwood backrow is without 2019 Rookie of the year Michael Icely.

After a late inclusion to the starting XV, winger Cam Clark is back to the Waratahs 'bubble', despite having the bye Clark will miss this week's match. Replaced by Connor Winchester who has shown strong form in 2nd Grade to lead the clubs point-scoring ranks.

In's: Connor Winchester
Out: Cam Clark
