Board Member Announcement

Northern Suburbs Rugby are pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Peters to the Board.

Jane has been associated with Norths for 8 years since her son, Sam Kitchen (our former first grade hooker) joined Colts; but, grew her “rugby tragic” status from a lifetime of watching her brothers and sons play school, club and representative rugby.

A seasoned legal professional and alumni of both Cambridge and Macquarie universities, Jane’s focus, with a Fortune Global 500 company for 20+ years, has been on solutioning and executing strategic corporate initiatives including geographic expansions, restructures, acquisitions, integrations and divestments in ANZ, APAC, Africa and the Middle East. She also brings over 10 years of experience as an executive director and company secretary. Prior to this, Jane practiced at the NSW Bar and started her career as a money market dealer.

Jane is an avid advocate of stewardship and the uplifting impact of mentoring. Mindful of the many issues faced by young men and women, she has long been involved in various youth mentoring programmes and is overseeing a revamp of the Club’s Wellbeing Programme.
