Harry Burey named 1st Grade Captain in 2021.
After deputising in the role throughout 2020, the robust inside centre seamlessly took over the captaincy duties from round 6 onwards as injury sidelined Nick Palmer for an extended period.
Burey has been a mainstay of the 1st Grade backline since arriving midway through 2016 and has since amassed 74 1st Grade Games while going on to represent the Sydney Rays (NRC) and Waratahs Academy.

"I’m extremely excited and proud to be named Captain for 2021. Proud that Norths has an extremely long and proud history with some exceptional Shoremen having been 1st Grade captains over the years, including the ones I’ve played under that will go down as Norths greats.
Excited by the opportunity to put my own twist on the role and lead a group of blokes with amazing potential.
Leading Norths out in front of the packed corner at Chatswood Oval last year is something I’ll never forget and I can’t wait to create more memories like that in 2021 especially playing back at North Sydney Oval"
