Round 11 Preview 'Final Home Game'

Back at Pittwater Rugby Park our Home away from Home for the third and final 'home game' at the venue in 2020. The Shoremen are 2 from 2 at Pitwatter and 5 from 5 at all makeshift home grounds.

Facing another stiff test this week, Southern Districts have been somewhat giant killers with wins over Sydney University and Eastwood, only to let themselves down some consistency in 2020.

With Norths finals aspirations confirmed, there will be one eye to the minor premiership sitting a single point behind Gordon in 2nd place. Souths come to Pittwater playing for their season in 7th place, 1 point from 6th and 2 points shy of 5th place.

Norths bring a strong form line, having toppled ladder leaders Gordon and dispatched Randwick in recent weeks. Southern Districts got back in the winner's list with a strong performance against Hunter though their two previous scorelines against Gordon and Easts have been far from desirable conceding a combined 113 points.

In contrast, Norths defence has been strong in the past fortnight conceding a combined 30 points from two top 4 games.

Norths will be without No.8 George Murrin for the foreseeable, after suffering a shoulder dislocation in last weeks win. Murrin is replaced by Charlie Jeavons-Fellows in a reshuffled back row, while Captain Nick Palmer was poised to make his return before a set back with his recovery mid-week.
Heinrich Brendel has recovered from his calf injury and will return via the reserves bench.

In a second late change during the week, Reece Mau'u has been replaced by Kepu Lokotui after not being able to recover in time.

In's: Charlie Jeavons-Fellows, Reece Mau'u, Heinrich Brendel (reserves)
