In a stop-start affair at Coogee, the boot of Fly-Half Jude Gibbs kept Norths in control of the first half before running in two second-half tries. Gibbs quickly establishing himself as a find of the season, meanwhile, Saxon Gillies made his presence felt returning to Coogee Oval.

No. 8 Brodie Leber makes his return to the starting XV for the first time this season. 2 strong cameos on his return from a hamstring injury, Leber replaces newcomer Luke Gersekowski who suffered an injury to his teeth on Saturday and his return date is TBC. Gerskowski too has had a strong start since joining the club.
