Qualifying Final Preview

After 13 rounds of the strangest Shute Shield season to date, 6 clubs remain to battle it out for the ultimate prize in Australian club rugby. A season that will be etched in the memories of all supporters for a long lone time.

Norths will claim the 'Home Ground advantage' heading back to Pittwater Rugby Park for the fifth game in season 2020.

Despite suffering back-to-back losses Norths end the regular season in 3rd place, while only a fortnight ago the defending premiers season was on the ropes before getting the upper hand in the round 12 fixture.

German Haeffeli returns to the front row to partner Dewald Dekker as the scrum looms as the most critical area of the game.

Aside from the battle up front, another key matchup will be in the halves and midfield. Nick Duffy (with 969 passes) leads the competition for passes thrown and Angus Sinclair will need to put the Shoremen in the right areas and the midfield lay the platform as they have all season.

Max Burey continues his run of form at the back, having scored in each of the past 4 rounds edging out the other contenders for 1st Grade leading try scorer and a contender for Shute Shield Rookie of the year.

In's: German Heaffeli
Out: Jayden Lynch (reserves)
