The Shoremen Report - Round 2

Northern Suburbs continued their run of opening-round wins, taking their tally to 8 consecutive years. Almost rivaling that of the Melbourne Storm which sits at 19.

Both round 1 winners, setting up an early table-topping clash after Souths edged past Gordon 16-7.

Beer has made two changes to the forward pack, rotating James Margan in for Sam Kitchen at Hooker & Hamish Sinclair replaces last week's debutant Saxon Gillies (concussion).

Meanwhile, the backline remains unchanged following a standout performance from Jude Gibbs. Gibbs made his presence felt on his former home field with an astute kicking game.
