2023 MINOR PREMIERS

Northern Suburbs officially sealed the 2023 Shute Shield Minor Premiership after Saturday's Bonus Point Win over the Hunter Wildfires at North Sydney Oval.

Jude Gibbs, Luke Gersekowski, and Declan Carroll saved some of their best performances of the season so far to help guide Norths to a courageous win over a very physical Hunter Wildfires team.

The win saw Norths finish the season on 67 points, equal with Randwick who also picked up a bonus point win over Warringah. With one more regular season win then Randwick, saw us finish on top of the table for the second year in a row.

Hunter has been on a mission this season to wreak havoc within the Shute Shield competition as they've really stepped it up in 2023 and are a constant threat to all teams they play.

With Hunter going down on the weekend, it sees them slip to Sixth place on the ladder, meaning we will meet again this coming Saturday at North Sydney Oval with the new six-team finals format, seeing First take on Sixth.

On Saturday, August 12 our Fourth Grade and our First Grade will be playing at North Sydney Oval and we need you to get behind us by filling the hill and the stands! Dust off those red and black jerseys, jackets, caps, and scarves and come along for what's set to be a cracking week one of the finals at North Sydney Oval!

Semi-Finals: Week One - Saturday, August 12

Fourth Grade: Northern Suburbs v Manly at 11:55am

Second Grade: Sydney Uni v Eastern Suburbs at 1:20pm

First Grade: Northern Suburbs v Hunter Wildfires at 3:05pm
