Norths Sirens, Round 2 Game Times

Game 1: Norths v Sydney University 2 - 9:00 am

Game 2: Norths v UTS Gordon - 10:00 am

Game 3: Norths v Blacktown - 11:00 am

Game 4: Norths v Souths 2 - 11:40 am

With the bye scheduled for round 4, it is all up to the ladies to fly the flag this weekend.

The Northern Suburbs 'Sirens' will take to the field in their 2nd round of the 2020 Sydney Women's 7's competition.

Having been washed out the day of round 1 a fortnight ago, the sirens were postponed to last week and got their campaign off to a strong start.

Competing in Pool B Division 2, covid restrictions have forced competitions to get creative in how they are formed.

The Sirens kicked their day off with opening wins against Briars 20-12 and Renegades 26-0 before continuing their run of form overcoming Eastwood 20-5.

With competition points awarded for final pool positioning, the sirens fell to a strong Blacktown 29-0 in their pool final, earning a 4th place overall position in Divison 2.

With back to back tournaments, the sirens head into Round 2 on Sunday at Forshaw Park full of confidence on the back of their defensive efforts in the opening week, which had coach Geoff Wells most pleased.
